Seattle Mini Sessions
Have you been meaning to get your family photos done? Do you enjoy spending time at the park with your kids?
Well then these mini sessions are for you!
Come and join me at a local park to have some fun and get some great images of your family.
These family mini sessions will focus on keeping the kids engaged and having a good time to get the best smiles for the whole family. Since mini sessions are 20 minutes, they won’t have to last long!
Then you will have access to an online gallery to choose your favorites from or buy the whole gallery if you choose.

The Details
Who: This mini session is ideal for families with children and babies who can sit up unassisted. It is not ideal for really young babies as we will only have twenty minutes together.
I love working with families of all kinds. I do however limit the mini sessions to six participants who are immediate family. If you have more than six immediate family members who are parental figures and kids, send me an email to discuss.
If you wish to use this session for a high school senior mini or just you and your four legged friend that works as well!
What: These mini sessions are fun in the Seattle park mini sessions. We will use the beautiful park as your backdrop. For the fall sessions I do my best to guess the dates when it won’t rain. I am a firm believer that the most important thing in the photos is you and your family! Hopefully the weather and scenery will cooperate!
When: The sessions will be held on these specific dates and times.
October 4th, Saturday: 10 am, 10:25 am and 10:50 am, 11:15 am
October 5th, Sunday: 10 am, 10:25 am, and 10:50 am
October 19th, Sunday 10 am, and 10:25 am, 10:50 am
October 25th, Saturday 10 am and 10:25 am
The sessions are 20 minutes long, and they are scheduled one after another, so make sure to be on time. They tend to fill up fast. You will be asked to fill out a short questionnaire and sign a photography agreement at time of booking. Once you have completed the booking process and paid your deposit your date will be reserved.
Where: All of the sessions will be at Seward Park this year. The exact location within the park will be sent out the day of to make sure we get the best spot of weather and scenery. I tend to favour the upper loop for the scenery and the more convenient parking.
Pricing
I do my mini sessions a bit differently than many. Instead of asking you to commit $$$ before you even see your photos I have a session fee of $75 to schedule your session time. This doesn’t include any products or digital files.
You then will have the opportunity to view your images in an online gallery and choose what you want from your online gallery. You can see the packages available below.
The galleries will be available for 14 days for you to make your selections.
Do you want photos with genuine smiles that really show your families connection? Some people call them “lifestyle photos,” I think of them more as “best moment real life photos.” They show you in the middle of the best moments of being you. For some people that is smiling and laughing, but for others it is just looking at their child with love.
Do you worry that your kids won’t want to sit and smile at the camera? Since these photo shoots are set up to capture your family living life there won’t be a ton of sitting and smiling. Instead I will encourage you to engage with one another and have a good time.
We will go at their pace and let them enjoy themselves. It may mean taking a short walk, letting them tickle you a little, or just sit on your lap. The idea is to keep it light and fun let your love shine through.
Beautiful Setting
Seward Park is such a wonderful place to have your portraits taken. There is plenty of room for your family to move around and just be yourselves. The upper loop is the best for this because there are fewer people which means more room to have our session.
Only Purchase What You Love
Your initial booking fee is only $75. From there you get to choose what you wish to purchase. You will get the opportunity to view your images and pick out your favorites. So, you do not have to pay hundreds of dollars before you even get to see your images. You only need to purchase what you love and if you love them all, there’s an option for that too!
Kid Centered Photo Session
Your photo shoot will be based around your kid or kids and their personality. I have every family fill out a form before our shoot to tell me about what their kid loves and a little about their personality.
So I will know in advance if you child is a little shy, or loves to run, and all those things that make us individuals. That way we can make sure to meet your child where they are at and do our best to engage them in some fun.

FAQ
What if it rains?
If it rains on the day of our session I will text or call you and we will reschedule for the soonest date possible. You will have the option to join one of the other minis dates as well.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you or your family are sick or have an emergency please call me as soon as possible and we will reschedule you.
If you need to reschedule for any other reason please reach out 48 hours before your session to reschedule your session. Any reschedules or cancellations after 48 hour will be charged the sitting fee/retainer of $75.
What is included in my $75 sitting fee?
The $75 sitting fee covers your session of 20 minutes. No products or digital files are included.
Can I have my newborn in my mini session?
I do not recommend bringing newborns to a mini session. Since newborns need a lot of time and care 20 minutes may not be enough and the quality of the session may not be optimal. If you want to have a newborn lifestyle session please reach out for a full session.
Can I bring my pet?
I do not recommend bringing your pet to a mini session as it will take the focus away from your other family members. Please reach out if you want to talk it about it more.
